Lamy Al Star Azure is based on the Lamy Safari and features a light blue all Aluminium cap and barrel, the Al Star series have a multitude of choices for the fountain pen color – that are always renewed by Lamy. The smoky-clear triangular shape grip section of the Lamy Al Star is a benchmark for all fountain pen users regardless of their experience.
Lamy Al Star comes equipped with easy interchangeable steel nibs. You can pick in between the following nib sizes : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and a LH (Left Handed) option.
Lamy Al Star comes with a blue ink cartridge making the fountain pen ready to write out of the box. You can use the fountain pen also with bottled ink by purchasing separately the Lamy Z28/Z27 Converter.Â
To ensure the best quality and performance Lamy tests their writing instruments as a final step of the manufacturing process – if you see any residual ink, this is normal and it is an outcome of the testing process.
